Batching controllers from microedge electronics are based on microcontroller. These controllers allow input from a maximum of 4` load cells in parallel and controls batching of up to 6 components. The weight is measured by a high-speed a dc, which is capable of 1 in 10000 external counts. Opto-isolated open collector controls single/dual speed feeding arrangement for the 6 components. Opto-isolated inputs are provided for start, discharge, etc. Batching parameters, like coarse setpoint, target setpoint, in-flight, etc, for each component can be programmed through the four keys provided in the front panel. There is also a separate menu for the calibration of the weighing system. Pc software are provided for creating and downloading recipes, monitoring the batching process, collecting batch data and generating report is available as an option. The company also supplies a complete panel-based on the batching controller with relays; mimic and push buttons.
